RIP TORN WANTS NON-JURY TRIAL

Actor Rip Torn has requested a non-jury trial when he faces charges of driving while intoxicated this summer.The 76-year-old actor is accused of crashing his vehicle into a tractor-trailer in North Salem, near New York City in December last year. A county clerk reveals Torn has requested a non-jury trial at his court hearing in June. The "Men in Black" actor is currently without representation after parting company with lawyer Adam Levy.
