FLAVA FLAV ANGERS NYC PROMOTER

Veteran rapper FLAVA FLAV has angered fans by failing to appear at a gig in New York on Monday night. The Public Enemy star was due to host the Rock The Bells After Party at Retox bar lounge and Myst nightclub in the city, but failed to appear at the venues much to the disdain of club promoter John Englebert. Englebert claims the hip-hop star - real name William Jonathan Drayton Jr. did not contact the club to explain his no-show. He says, "I deal with alot of celebrity parties and sh**t happens but Flava Flav didn’t even bother to call. "Maybe if he was an A-lister I wouldn’t mind as much but he’s lucky I agreed to let his ass host a party at my venue. Let’s be real here he hasn’t dropped a CD in how long!"
