The Sopranos'The Sopranos' is set to win big at this year's Emmy Awards after receiving incredible 15 nominations. The hit HBO gangster series - which ended in the US with an explosive finale after six seasons last month - is up against 'Boston Legal', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Heroes' and 'House' in the Outstanding Drama Series category. James Gandolfini, who played mob boss Tony Soprano, and Edie Falco, who played his long-suffering wife Carmela, have both received nominations for their leading roles. The show's other nods include Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series, Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series for Michael Imperioli as top mobster Christopher Moltisanti. Following with the next most nominations was comedy series 'Ugly Betty' with 11 nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series for America Ferrera as hapless assistant Betty Suarez. Hospital drama 'Grey's Anatomy', mini-series 'The Starter Wife' and sitcom '30 Rock' each received 10 nominations. Spoof mockumentary series 'The Office' has been named in nine categories, including Outstanding Comedy Series, where it is up against 'Entourage', '30 Rock', 'Two And A Half Men' and 'Ugly Betty'. Talent shows also ranked high up the list with 'Dancing With the Stars' receiving nine nominations trumping 'American Idol' which had eight. However, it was the TV movie 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee' that claimed the overall top spot with a total of 17 nominations. Mini-series 'Broken Trail' took the second position with 16 nods. The 59th annual Prime time Emmy Awards will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on September 16.
