DANIEL CRAIG'S IS TAKING SKI LESSIONS

Daniel Craig has been taking skiing lessons to help him prepare for the next James Bond movie. The actor - who made his debut as the suave spy in 2006's 'Casino Royale' - has taken to the slopes in preparation for the latest film, tentatively titled 'Bond 22'. A source said: "For the first time since 1969's 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', Bond will be largely snow-bound. Much of it will be filmed in the Swiss Alps. The film is in pre-production for a major ski sequence." Some of the most iconic scenes in Bond history have taken place on the piste. In 'The Spy Who Loved Me', Roger Moore used a Union flag parachute after skiing off a cliff, while Timothy Dalton careered down a mountain in a cello case for 'The Living Daylights'. Craig recently revealed he wanted to make Bond less macho and more comical. The British star - whose gritty interpretation of 007 in 'Casino Royale' was critically acclaimed - wants the next film to be inspired by former Bond star Roger Moore, who was famed for his sardonic wit. Craig said: "There are going to be more gags. The next one's going to be a lot funnier. To me Bond has never been that macho. That Bond is something that Sean Connery created in 'Dr. No'." Referring to the tongue-in-cheek names of previous films and past Bond girls, Craig added: "There will be lots of Octopussy and Pussy Galore-style gags. They're all great names - but the Bond jokes will be flipped on their heads."
