DONALD TRUMP FILES PHILIPPINES SUIT

Reality show star and builder Donald J. Trump is suing a property company in the Philippines over the unauthorised use of his name in one of their housing projects.The Donald has filed legal papers against Megaworld Corporation for naming a new property development The Trumps, in an act he claims is an "outrageous attempt to mislead buyers into thinking that my name and company is affiliated with Megaworld’s project." He adds, "(The word Trump is) is associated with me and my company throughout the world." But Megaworld Corp. has denied the allegations, insisting the firm does not "need to ride on the name of Mr. Donald J. Trump as we are a leading property developer in the Philippines while Mr. Trump has no known real estate project in the country." The legal dispute will now be decided by the Philippine intellectual property office. Can't Trump that !
