MARILYN MONROE ALMOST HAD ELVIS

According to a forthcoming new book on ELVIS PRESLEY, 'ON ELVIS PRESLEY BOULEVARD', by LAMAR FIKE (with celeb-author MARK BEGO), THE KING and MARILYN MONROE ... almost hooked up.Says Fike, "In 1957, while Elvis was filming JAILHOUSE ROCK on the MGM lot, Marilyn was filming THE PRINCE AND THE SHOWGIRL. She invited Elvis over to the set for the 'wrap party',and he didn't feel comfortable going to a party full of other stars, so he sent me. When I got to the party I ended up talking to her for a half-hour and found her just terrific. When I got back, I told Elvis how charming Marilyn was and he said curtly, well, 'it sure took you long enough to say Elvis couldn't make it'."Fike's book ON ELVIS PRESLEY BOULEVARD ... will be out in the Spring.

Absolute and 100% RUBBISH! Crap--creation to sell another book.
Focus on Elvis and if you run out of facts on and about the King, please stop creating BS! Thank you.
Jeanne Carmen, a constantly lying woman who connected herself to anything and everything that was famous and successful, she just died two weeks ago--and she is OUT of the Marilyn Monroe history. Elvis was never part of that one. It would have been cool, but we all know that Marilyn liked older men and more intellectual. Even though Joe DiMaggio was a sports legend, he had great stile.
I commented just one year ago in a wonderful telling interview, conducted and published by Steven Mikulan from the LA Weekly magazine. Funny, because Elvis was mentioned over and over again--but again: lies and nothing but that.
Sorry.

Yeah, because I'm going to believe a "commenter" or "collector" over someone who knew Elvis (and possibly Marilyn) personally. And what's with the "she preferred someone more intellectual" comment? If YOU knew anything AT ALL about Elvis, you would know that he was a HIGHLY intellectual individual. So really, you have no credibility here.
