SHOCK JOCK IMUS FACES MORE LAWSUITS

Don Imus is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit from advertisers on his former radio show who claim he insulted a book the company was trying to promote. Flatsigned Press Inc., a book publisher based in Nashville, Tennessee, has accused the shock jock of badmouthing the company by calling its radio commercials for a book by the late President Gerald Ford "cheesy".The lawsuit, which is asking for over $4 million in damages, claims the star told listeners to his Imus In The Morning show on New York radio station WFAN that the publishers "have been waiting for (Ford) to croak (die) so they can unload these books".
