KELLY ROWLAND LOOKS AT BROADWAY

Singing star Kelly Rowland wants to follow in the footsteps of her former Destiny's Child band mate Michelle Williams and head to New York City's Broadway. The sexy pop star is reportedly going to try her hand at acting on The Great White Way, and has instructed her manager and former band mate Beyonce Knowles’ father Matthew Knowles, and his team to help her land a role in a hit show.According to MediaTakeOut, Knowles has already contacted the producers of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and The Color Purple, with the producers of both stage shows expressing interest in having Rowland join their casts.Michelle Williams has previously starred in the Broadway productions of Aida and The Color Purple. Rowland’s acting experience includes roles in movies Freddy vs. Jason in 2002, and The Seat Filler in 2004.
