KID ROCK RETURNS TO SCENE OF CRIME
Singer Kid Rock returned to the Waffle House restaurant where he was arrested for battery last year, to sign autographs for a charity.The star and five members of his entourage were arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery after an October brawl in the Duluth, Ga., restaurant.A not-guilty plea was entered on Kid Rock's behalf in a DeKalb County State Court last week.According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper, the musician decided to make amends by greeting fans and signing autographs at a Waffle House fundraiser for local homeless shelter charity Nicholas House.The event took place on March 11 before Kid Rock performs at the nearby Gwinnett Arena.Waffle House spokesperson Pat Warner says, "For a while now, we've been working with Kid Rock's management to try and turn a negative into a positive."We're hoping to raise some money for a worthwhile charity."Labels: GOSSIP, JAMES EDSTROM, KID ROCK
