REESE WITHERSPOON CANS SCOTTER RIDE

Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon had to can a motorcycle-riding scene in new movie 'Penelope' because she was too short to reach the scooter’s foot-rest. The Oscar winner was left red-faced when her feet were left swinging, even after props workers had strapped wooden blocks to her feet. In the end, director Mark Palansky abandoned plans for Witherspoon to ride the scooter, and had her two-wheeler pulled along by a rope instead. The actress says, "I was height-challenged. And I was a little embarrassed."
