Sarah Jessica ParkerTalented actress Sarah Jessica Parker hates it when viewers confuse her with her television character and ask her for
advice. The star is best known for playing sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw on Sex And The City, but, unlike her character, she is not a fan of intimate conversations and finds it very uncomfortable when confused TV viewers call on her to dole out advice on men.She says, "They (the fans) would be very candid and tell me very personal, intimate details about their lives. And it wasn’t just women - of the four of us (actors in the show), I’m probably the least forthright about that kind of thing." But the star knows the reason why people come to her seeking answers. She adds, "I understood why they did it. It’s the nature of television. It creates an intimacy very quickly for people. It’s in their homes and they establish relationships with the characters. "The show was connecting with an audience on a new level, it was the first time that women were given a voice in that way and fans were responding to it."
