NANCY SINATRA CONTINUES DADS FIGHT

Singing icon Frank Sinatra's daughter Nancy is continuing her late father’s battle for musicians’ rights. The 'These Boots Are Made For Walking' singer is urging the United States government to change the current law on radio royalties. Ten years before his death in 1998, Sinatra pushed for the introduction of legislation to give performance royalties to artists whose songs air on radio. And nearly two decades on, his daughter Nancy is continuing his efforts. On Wednesday, Nancy is to join stars including rocker Dave Navarro, to speak at a congressional hearing in Washington D.C. on behalf of the MusicFirst coalition. The hearing will discuss supporting new legislation which will give new rights to performers.
