JONAS BROTHERS FORGIVE RUSSELL BRAND

The Jonas Brothers

Teen superstars The Jonas Brothers have forgiven British comic Russell Brand for mocking their sexual morals during Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards show.Russell made fun of the pop singers for more than half the show over their vow not to have sex before marriage, marked by the purity rings they wear. Nick Jonas tells BBC's Radio 1: "For us it's cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman. ...I think he did a good job. We saw him on Conan O'Brien and thought he was hilarious." The comedian apologized after he was reprimanded by a string of celebrities including Jordin Sparks and Paris Hilton for hitting out at the stars for being virgins. By the end of the award show the host had sought forgiveness from the crowd: "I've gotta say sorry because I said those things about promise rings; that was bad of me. I didn't mean to take it lightly."
