CARRIE UNDERWOOD SORRY TO MATTHEW

Carrie Underwood At Awards

Pop singer Carrie Underwood is apologizing to sexy actor Matthew McConaughey after making a sexual joke about the actor during her acceptance speech at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Carrie took to the stage at the famed ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday night to receive the coveted Entertainer of the Year award. McConaughey, who was presenting the prize, used his time in front of the audience to tell a story about his youth, revealing he and his brother used to "pick up" women by telling them they made boots for country star George Strait. And when the singer joined McConaughey on the podium, she quipped, "I want to see those boots, Matthew." The singer is admitting she now regrets her choice of words, and insists she didn't mean to be rude to Matthew. She tells Fox News, "I'm so embarrassed, I totally embarrassed myself. I just blanked. You want to say something eloquent in a moment like that and I embarrassed myself. I'm sorry Matthew, I'm sorry to my family. I'm totally embarrassed."
