LINDSAY LOHAN DENIES EVERYTHING

Lindsay Lohan is back in rehab. The 'Mean Girls' star checked into an undisclosed facility yesterday after she was arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) in Santa Monica following a police car chase. The 21-year-old has not returned to Malibu's Promises centre where she recently completed a 45-day program for alcoholism. Lindsay said of her latest arrest: "Yes. I am innocent... did not do drugs they're not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy." The actress - who is already facing charges of DUI from an arrest in May - was yesterday charged with DUI, possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended licence. Lindsay's mother Dina said: "I am sick over this. "We are doing everything in our power in support of Lindsay and I won't give up - this is my daughter and we love her. "Lindsay is in a safe place, and we are trying to strategically work out our next step." The 'I Know Who Killed Me' star was wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet at the time of her arrest. It regularly records the wearer's blood alcohol level from their sweat and transmits the results back to a central monitoring system, raising an alarm is alcohol is present. The alarm is also triggered if the bracelet is removed. Lindsay's lawyer, Blair Berk, insisted the actress is in the grip of a "terrible and vicious disease". Blair added in a statement: "Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies. "Unfortunately, late Monday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."

Paris Hilton plans to open a home for former female prisoners.The hotel heiress, who is set to be released from California's Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood tomorrow and has spoken to jail doctors and officials about setting up a safe house for newly released inmates.Paris is quoted by E! News as saying: "I'm lucky enough that when I leave prison I have a home to go to and a family that loves me. A lot of girls in here don't have that option. They go back to the streets."I want to help build a transitional home so that when inmates leave here they have somewhere to go. These women just keep coming back because they have no home to go to." Paris, 26, says her facility would offer former prisoners somewhere to stay while they look for jobs and try to find their families. She explained: "It will be a place for them to go get food, clothes and get them up on their feet, especially the mothers. It's just a really bad cycle. If we stop it now, we can make our community a better place." 'The Simple Life' star revealed she is planning to cut ties with many of her wild friends. She said: "I think there are a lot of bad people that I was around. I don't want to surround myself with those types anymore." Paris also slammed rumors she has been refusing to eat in prison. She said: "There are a lot of untrue rumours going around. I'm the exact same weight. The food is awful, but I'm eating. When I come out, people will see I'm exactly the same." Meanwhile, Paris' mother Kathy has revealed her daughter is looking forward to getting rid of her prison uniform. Kathy, who visited Paris at the weekend, said: "Paris is so excited about seeing the family. She also can't wait to take that orange suit off. She is sick of orange, but her health is good."
