Hollywood star Brad Pitt was granted a private meeting with President Barack Obama on Thursday to discuss the issue of Hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans. The disaster left thousands of people homeless when the levees broke and flood water washed away residential areas in 2005. Pitt has played a major role in the rebuilding process in the state, with his Make it Right Foundation providing funding for a number of housing schemes. Brad, in Washington, D.C. with his partner Angelina Jolie while she shoots the new thriller "Salt," used his spare time to discuss the issue with the President at a meeting in the White House. Pitt later talked more about ways to better help those still affected by Hurricane Katrina with the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

BRAD PITT TALKS ABOUT NOT TALKING

Sexy superstar Brad Pitt is urging reporters to stop asking him about his family life, because talking about it "cheapens" his relationship with partner Angelina Jolie and their six children. And though he is admitting to understanding the fascination, Pitt insists there's no way his fans can get a real grasp on his life at home. In an interview on "Today" he says, "I just feel bad about it when I (talk about them). There's no way to give it true validity and weight in what it means to you in your life, and it seems to get cheapened somehow as it goes through the filters and the airwaves. Some things you just want to keep close to the chest."But Pitt couldn't keep the lid on how proud he is of his family, because he sees "what a difference it can make" raising children from such diverse backgrounds. He added, "I will say this: I'm really proud of this family. I look at my sons and my daughters -- one's from Vietnam and one's from Cambodia, and one's from Ethiopia ... and they're brothers and sisters, man. They're fighting and laughing and they're going into hysterics and they're staying up late and they're messing with their parents and they're driving me crazy."I feel rich being around them. It's a rich home and each one of them offers so much to the mix."
Echoing Jolie's statements earlier this year about the couple's plans to wed, he added, "If we feel it's important to our kids we will do so."

BRAD PITT JETS OFF FOR RADIOHEAD GIG

Sexy Hollywood star Brad Pitt left his pregnant girlfriend Angelina Jolie at home in France to jet to Italy to watch British rockers Radiohead with his very good pal Edward Norton. The two actors, who became friends on the set of the 1999 film "Fight Club" -- were spotted enjoying the concert in Milan, Italy, on Wednesday night. The pair were joined by Brad's other good friend Marianne Pearl, the woman who was played by Jolie in last year's "A Mighty Heart." Brad was also photographed laughing and joking with his friends and showing them pictures of his children on his camera phone, according to People.com. Pitt and Jolie have four children: Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 2. They are currently expecting twins at the end of summer.

Other residents of Los Angeles California exclusive Franklin Village are reported to be "outraged" by the photographers who now swarm around the area, desperate for a glimpse of the couple and their four children.Website Animalnewyork.com claims a number of homeowners are rallying to try and force the Pitt-Jolie family out of the neighborhood. But Pitt doesn’t believe the reports - insisting he gets on well with his neighbors. He tells the New York Post, "This is the first I’ve heard of this, which tells me it’s mostly not true. RUMORS ABOUT ANGELINA JOLIE NEW BABY

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is sparking rumors that she’s planning to give birth to her second natural child in France after moving into Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's villa in St Jean Cap Ferrat for the summer. Local reports suggest the actress, her partner Brad Pitt and their four children flew to nearby Nice, France on Monday and they plan to stay at Allen’s secluded home for "a long duration." Two nannies and three bodyguards joined the family at Villa Maryland. Pitt and Jolie previously borrowed the property for a break in 2006, just before their daughter Shiloh was born. The couple is expected to remain in St Jean Cap Ferrat at least until the end of the Cannes Film Festival in May.

He said: "I had one kid, then two kids, then three kids in two-and-a-half years or so. I've always embraced extremes, so it doesn't feel odd to me. There are a couple weeks of finding your balance, and then it's set in stone. "I just look at them and go, 'My daughter's from Ethiopia, I have two sons from Asia and a daughter who was born in Namibia - and they are brothers and sisters. "It pleases me so much. I get such a warm feeling inside. I don't even think anymore what their lives could have been. I have to intellectually think about that. They are a bond, they are a family. ANGELINA AND BRAD GET TATTOOS

Rather than going to a parlour, Brad and Angelina were visited by a tattoo artist from the Chicago Tattooing Co. at their hotel. The artist is believed to have spent most of the day completing the work, and members of the couple's staff and security team are also thought to have had pieces done. A source said: "An artist from the company slipped up to the 18th floor of the Peninsula Hotel. He spent the better part of a day needling Angelina and Brad, and some members of staff and security team." Chicago Tattooing Co. owner Nick Coletta has refused to confirm whether or not the visit took place. Angelina is known for her love of body art and the alleged new piece is believed to be her fourteenth. The 'Tomb Raider' actress' tattoos include a large Asian tiger on her back, a large black cross on her left hip and the words "Know Your Rights" just below her neck. She recently had a tattoo in honor of where her and Brad's four children were born. Angelina had four lines of geographical co-ordinates etched onto the top of her left arm, each one representing the map position of Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh's place of origin.

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT’s charitable foundation has donated $1 million to help refugees of the war in Sudan.More than two million people have been left homeless by the conflict in the African nation’s Darfur region, and there are 240,000 refugees across the border in Chad. The donation was announced yesterday by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, for which Jolie is a goodwill ambassador and where some of the money will go. The rest will be split between the International Rescue Committee and the SOS Children’s Villages.

Brad Pitt fans in Japan have been warned that watching his film 'Babel' could make them sick.At least 15 people have complained of nausea after watching the movie, also starring Cate Blanchett, since its release in Japan on April 28. As a result, distributors have published advertisements in national newspapers warning potential film goers of the possible stomach-churning consequences. The ad' reads: "This feature presentation includes some highly stimulating effects and some customers have complained of feeling ill." The film, dealing with the international consequences of a shooting in Morocco, was much anticipated in Japan, as native actress Rinko Kikuchi was nominated for an Oscar for her performance as a deaf mute schoolgirl. In one scene, Kikuchi's character visits a nightclub where strobe lights flash for about a minute, causing nausea in some viewers. The warning has also been displayed on the Gaga Communications website and on posters in over 300 cinemas. In 1997, an episode of the Japanese children's cartoon series 'Pokemon' also sparked hundreds of complaints for causing nausea and convulsions because it featured flashing lights.
