EVA LONGORIA NOT CLOSE WITH CO-STAR

Eva Longoria is close to all her 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars except Teri Hatcher. The 32-year-old actress, who is married to San Antonio Spurs basketball star Tony Parker - is good friends with Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan, but admits Teri does not join in with their socializing outside work. Eva told Elle magazine: "Flick and I live down the street from each other. When Tony is in town, Marcia and I get together with our husbands, those two are big basketball fans. And Nicollette and I go shopping all the time." "They are a great group of girls. And some of us are really close." Teri, 42, is rumored to have been branded a diva by her co-stars after by using Eva's wedding at the Saint Germain l'Auxerrois church near Paris as a photo opportunity for herself. The other guests entered the church through a side entrance but Teri posed for the paparazzi and signed autographs for 10 minutes. An on-set source said: "All the other girls are very close friends and hang out in each others' trailers and even at their homes. But Teri never joins in the fun and conversations. She often runs late for scenes and causes awkwardness on set."

TERI HATCHER BRANDED A DIVA !

Teri Hatcher was branded a "diva" by her 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars after her behaviour at Eva Longoria's wedding. The 42-year-old brunette - who plays clumsy Susan Mayer in the hit US TV show - annoyed fellow guests at the Paris nuptials by using the Saint Germain l'Auxerrois church as a photo opportunity for herself. One guest is quoted by the New York Daily News newspaper as saying: "A private walkway was set up so that as the celebrities exited the bus from the hotel, they could sneak through the fans and paparazzi. "Felicity Huffman and Nicollette Sheridan walked into the church hand-in-hand, but Teri took her daughter and walked around into the public area to pose for photos and wave to fans for 10 minutes. "It was so strange! Everyone else was so excited to be going into the church for the wedding, and all of a sudden, Teri broke away from the group to make sure she was seen and photographed. What a diva!" Teri also attracted criticism for commissioning designer Badgley Mischka - who created the bridesmaids' gowns - to make her wedding outfit. Rumours have continually circulated that Teri does not get along with the rest of the 'Desperate Housewives' cast since the show started. EVA LONGORIA HITS NEW YORK CITY'S BROADWAY FOR ROMANCE

Eva Longoria and fiancé Tony Parker have enjoyed a romantic weekend in New York.The couple, who are set to marry at French castle Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte on July 7, took a break from last-minute wedding preparations to watch the acclaimed Broadway musical 'Wicked' and have an intimate meal on Saturday. Eva also managed to pick up some gifts at toy store FAO Schwarz and visit stylist Robert Verdi for a final wedding-dress fitting. The 32-year-old brunette recently revealed she can't wait to show off her stunning bridal gown. She joked: "I am going to sleep in the dress!" French-born basketball star Tony plans to surprise his new wife by booking her favorite singers Lionel Richie and Jamie Foxx to perform at the ceremony. Eva's 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars - Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Nicollette Sheridan - are expected to attend the nuptials, along with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. The castle, just outside Paris, will close its grounds to the public for the first time ever and more than 2,000 candles will be lit throughout the estate as darkness falls. A fountain show in the French style gardens is also planned. Eva is due to begin filming the new series of 'Desperate Housewives' in Los Angeles just two days after the wedding. Earlier this week, it was revealed the couple are reportedly set to receive more than $2 million from OK! magazine for exclusive coverage of the nuptials.

MARCIA CROSS WAS TERRIFIED OF TWINS

Marcia Cross was "terrified" when she discovered she was having twins. The 'Desperate Housewives' actress - who gave birth to twin daughters earlier this year - was shocked when an ultra sound scan revealed she was expecting two babies. Marcia told Hello magazine: "I was absolutely terrified! Now if course, it's just like I won the lottery because I have two daughters and it's really just fantastic."Eden and Savannah were born at a Los Angeles hospital on February 20.Marcia, 45, openly admitted she and her husband Tom Mahoney used IVF treatment to help them conceive. She added: "Many women delay motherhood these days. I feel very fortunate to have become a mother in my 40s. "That's why I don't want to put out any fantasy that you can just do that forever and then just pop out twins."Marcia - who married Tom last year - was put on bed rest a month before the birth as a precuationary measure, due to the strain of the extra weight she was carrying.The flame-haired actress continued to shoot scenes for 'Desperate Housewives' after producers set up cameras in her home and filmed there for two days.

Eva Longoria's 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars have thrown her a bridal shower. The 32-year-old actress - who will marry basketball star Tony Parker on July 7 - partied with castmates Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan at Felicity Huffman's Los Angeles home on Sunday. Eva, who looked stunning in a fawn Badgley Mischka dress and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, judged a competition where unmarried guests made wedding gowns out of toilet paper. Teri - who plays Susan Mayers in the hit US TV show - was crowned champion after creating a tissue tiara and dress adorned with pink roses. The shower - which was held in Felicity's garden - included a sit-down lunch, where the pink and brown tables were decorated with pink house centrepieces. Guests helped themselves to a salad bar with shrimp, chicken, salmon and cheeses, along with white wine and martinis. They were then treated to chocolate chip cookies, brownies and white chocolate pastries. Felicity had asked guests to give Eva and Tony gifts for each room of their house. Brenda Strong, who plays Mary Alice Young on the show, said: "I got the living room so I got Eva this really beautiful imported mirror." When Felicity was asked what she gift she had given Eva, she joked: "I'm giving her this damn shower. I don't have to get her a present as well, do I?"
