EDDIE MURPHY AGREES TO CHILD SUPPORT

Hollywood star Eddie Murphy has agreed to pay $51,000 a month in child support to his former lover, former Spice Girl singer Melanie Brown. The singer hit the tabloid headlines in 2006 after embarking on a short fling with the actor and ended up getting pregnant with his child. Murphy started a battle with Brown following their break-up when he suggested it was possible he wasn't the father of the baby. He subsequently took a DNA test that determined daughter Angel Iris was his. British tabloid the News of the World has revealed that Murphy has agreed to a support package totaling more than $10 million, following a 15-month court battle in Los Angeles California.

TRACEY EDMONDS WAITS FOR MARRIAGE

Eddie Murphy's fiancée Tracey Edmonds won't live with the actor until they are married. Tracey - who got engaged to Eddie in July after he proposed with a "massive" diamond Cartier ring - is sticking to traditional values and doesn't plan to move in with the actor until they are officially husband and wife. She said: "We haven't moved in together yet. We're waiting until we get married." The film producer - who has two sons - is looking forward to having a noisy home when the couple's two families are brought together under one roof. She said: "I think it's going to be fun for my kids, because it's been just the three of us. If you come to my house, it's very peaceful, very quiet, and I think it's going to be fun for them to have other brothers and sisters to play with." Tracey also added Eddie's six children - he has five children with ex-wife Nicole Murphy and one daughter, Angel Iris, with Spice Girl Mel B - are all "wonderful". She told People magazine: "The great thing is Eddie has got beautiful, wonderful, smart, great children, and he's a great father, so we've had a chance to all kind of spend a bit of time together." Tracey still refused to reveal any details about when the couple would be tying the knot, but hinted it would be in the near future. She said: "I'll just say it's coming soon." Eddie publicly revealed he was dating Tracey last October, when Mel B was five months pregnant with his child.

Eddie Murphy and his girlfriend Tracey Edmonds are engaged to be married. The 'Shrek' star proposed last Wednesday with a "massive" Cartier yellow diamond engagement ring. Edmonds proudly showed off the ring at lunch with friends the next day at the W Hotel in Westwood, California. A source said: "She looked very happy. She was proudly showing off the ring. They're very adorable together, very happy. It will be a private wedding. Something low key, but very romantic." Murphy and Edmonds are said to be planning to tie the knot before the end of the year. Edmonds' representative said: "Tracey and Eddie were engaged last Wednesday. They are both very much in love and are excited about spending the rest of their lives together." Murphy was named as the father of Spice Girl Mel B's baby daughter Angel Iris in June after refusing to acknowledge the child until a paternity test had been carried out. The 46-year-old actor publicly revealed his relationship with film producer Edmonds last October - when Mel was five months pregnant with his child. Edmonds was married to singer Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds for 13 years before the pair divorced in June.

EDDIE MURPHY TO DO DNA TEST TODAY

Eddie Murphy will undergo a DNA test to today to determine whether he is the father of Mel B's baby.Eddie has continually denied claims he is the father of two-month-old Angel Iris, after splitting with Mel while she was pregnant. The 'Dreamgirls' actor has now been ordered to appear in a US court to provide a DNA test after Mel sought legal action to resolve the dispute. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "If he tries to duck out of this test there will be all hell to pay. This isn't just another girlfriend he is messing around, this is his own flesh and blood. "Mel knows the baby is Eddie's and can't believe it has got to the point where she has to force him to acknowledge there is a chance he could be the father. "He has left her with no choice. This isn't about the money. It's about Angel knowing for sure who her dad is." Mel who has also been ordered to attend the court hearing, prepared for the day by meeting up with her former Spice Girls band mate Victoria Beckham. The pair caught up over a meal which was filmed for Victoria's new US reality TV show. Mel, 32, was "devastated" when Eddie abruptly ended their whirlwind romance late last year. At the time, Eddie told Dutch TV: "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test." The actor, who has five children, has not seen Mel or baby Angel Iris since she was born.

SPICE GIRL MEL B CONTINUES WAR

Mel B is set to tell-all on US TV about her relationship with Eddie Murphy. The former Spice Girl is reportedly on the verge of signing a deal with a major US network to lift the lid on her romance with the actor - including the couple's rampant sex life. Mel also allegedly intends to demand the 'Dreamgirls' star - who denies he is the father of her two-week-old daughter, Angel Iris Murphy - pay her $6,000 a month in child support, as well as a lump sum for her to buy a Los Angeles home.A source told Britain's Star magazine: "Mel means business. She's in talks with a big TV network in the States, but in the meantime she has been advised to take a softly, softly approach."Mel was five months pregnant when Eddie dumped her in an interview with Dutch TV and demanded a paternity test to prove he is the father.Last week, Mel claimed the baby - who was born on the same date as Eddie's birthday April 3 - closely resembled the comic star, and revealed she had named him as the father on the birth certificate. In January, sources close to Mel claimed she was planning to reveal the results of any DNA tests - which are already said to be underway - live on US television.

Mel B was "distraught" after her new baby underwent a DNA test to prove Eddie Murphy is the father. The former Spice Girl was reportedly devastated when ex-lover Eddie failed to get in touch after she gave birth to Fortuna Daphne Bay nearly two weeks ago. The procedure for the paternity test is now underway and Mel is determined to prove her daughter's parentage. A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She is distraught that her baby has been subjected to the DNA-testing procedure. "She can't believe it's come to this and that Eddie hasn't just admitted the child is his. "This last week should have been an incredible time for Mel, but it's been emotionally overwhelming and she's been constantly in tears. The DNA test was the last straw and she's gearing up to fight back. She's a strong-willed woman and will fight to the end." Earlier this week, Mel, 31, named Eddie as the father on Fortuna's birth certificate and has hired a top lawyer in preparation for a lengthy court battle. Mel enjoyed a whirlwind romance with Eddie before it ended abruptly late last year. The 'Dreamgirls' actor began dating producer Tracey Edmonds shortly after the split and claimed in an interview on Dutch TV he didn't know who the baby belonged to. A source said: "Eddie and Fortuna look very much alike and Mel wants to let everyone know that Eddie has to take his responsibilities as a father seriously."
