Rap star Fifty Cent is defending his mean decision to evict his ex-girlfriend and their son from a Long Island, N.Y., home he owns in Dix Hills. On April 3 a judge ruled that Shaniqua Tompkins and 10-year-old Marquise must leave the hip-hop star's mansion by the end of the 2008 school year, prompting fans to question how the star could throw out the woman who nursed him back to health after he was shot, almost fatally, in New York in 2000. But Fifty Cent is hitting back at claims Tompkins was by his side after the shooting, insisting this was merely how she was portrayed in "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," the 2005 film loosely based on his life. He says, "That's a movie. I tried to paint a more positive outlook on her. She's not my shorty on the side. I haven't dealt with her since 2003."She worked for three months in 2001. She ain't had a job, she ain't done nothing. I was giving her $500,000 a year. She thinks she's entitled to 17 percent, because these chicks she be having around her telling (her all this). I was giving her $25,000 a month, now she wants $50,000." At least your English is still good Fifty !

50 Cent's demands for his latest tour include a KFC chicken bucket and a well-done expensive fillet Mignon steak. The hip-hop star gave an 18-page rider to each British concert venue he will be visiting, which also includes peanut butter, various jams, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, pancakes, waffles and crepes. He also wants his food served to him on the finest china and the correct silverware as "presentation is VERY important" to the rap mogul. 50 is not the first star to make huge demands. Earlier this year, Justin Timberlake requested Beano anti-gas tablets to be flown over from the US as part of his rider for the London leg of his 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' tour. He also demanded two dressing rooms, which had to be kept at a constant 22 degrees Celsius, and a continuous supply of Hershey chocolate bars. Sheryl Crow demanded a fleet of vehicles, including four buses, six cars and three tractor trailers, for her 'Stop Global Warming College Tour'.Labels: FIFTY CENT, GOSSIP, JAMES EDSTROM
50 Cent has reassured fans he isn't quitting music. The rapper, who cancelled his entire European tour earlier this week, is trying to make it up to fans by announcing plans for a series of UK shows later this year. A source said: "50 wants to go to Britain and perform tracks from his new 'Curtis' album for his UK fans. He doesn't want to let them down." The 32-year-old star will play eight concerts across the UK in November, including shows at London's O2 arena. 50, who pledged to retire from the music industry if Kanye West's album 'Graduation' outsold his own 'Curtis', is seemingly reconsidering his retirement vow despite Kanye winning the UK leg of their chart battle last Sunday (16.09.07). The 'Candy Shop' star, who cancelled performances at the Vodafone Live Music Awards and MOBO awards on Wednesday (19.09.07), appears to have timed his shows to coincide with rival Kanye - who is also set to perform in the UK in November. On Monday (17.09.07), 50's spokesman revealed the rapper was postponing his European tour, saying: "50 Cent is very sad to confirm that due to a last-minute, unforeseen and unanticipated change in his schedule, he will have to postpone his European promotional trip scheduled to take place from September 18 to 25."Labels: FIFTY CENT, GOSSIP, JAMES EDSTROM
50 Cent has cancelled his European tour after being outsold by rival Kanye West. After pledging to retire from the music industry if Kanye's album 'Graduation' out sold his own 'Curtis', 50 has seemingly taken the first step by axing all his dates. He has cancelled performances at tomorrow night's Vodafone Live Music Awards and MOBO Awards (19.09.07) after Kanye won the UK leg of their chart battle on Sunday (16.09.07). A spokesman for the rapper said: "50 Cent is very sad to confirm that due to a last-minute, unforeseen and unanticipated change in his schedule, he will have to postpone his European promotional trip scheduled to take place from September 18 to 25." 50, real name Curtis Jackson, said before both albums were released: "If Kanye West sells more records than me, I'll no longer write music. I'll work with my other artists, but I won't put out anymore solo albums." 50's MOBOs cancellation has left organisers struggling to replace him with another big name. If a last-minute replacement isn't found, Craig David's duet with Kano is expected to take centre stage at the ceremony taking place at London's O2 arena.Labels: FIFTY CENT, GOSSIP, JAMES EDSTROM, KAYNE WEST
50 Cent dislikes P. Diddy and Jay-Z. The rapper - real name Curtis Jackson - has no desire to be friends with the two music moguls. When asked if he ever feels competitive towards Diddy and Jay-Z's business ventures, he replied: "Nah. I don't even like them." The hip-hop star refused to retract his words when it was suggested they could be misconstrued, saying: "I don't give a f**k." 50 insisted he "respected" Diddy but won't be phoning him to ask for advice. He told hip-hop website SOHH.com: "In business, I respect what he does. But if we liked each other, we'd call each other to talk for no reason. And me and Puffy, we don't have conversations." Diddy and Jay-Z are not the first to feel 50's wrath. He has also been involved in a war of words with Kanye West. The two hip-hop heavyweights are due to do battle in the charts next month when their new albums - 50's 'Curtis' and West's 'Graduation - are both released on September 11. 50 is so confident he will win the sales war, he has threatened to quit music if his rival outsells him. He said: "Let's raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer perform music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out any more solo albums."Labels: FIFTY CENT, GOSSIP, JAMES EDSTROM
50 Cent has been ordered to make an immediate payment of $10,000 in child support to his ex-girlfriend, after he reportedly failed to provide sufficient funds for his son's upbringing. The star -- born Curtis Jackson -- appeared in New York's Suffolk County Court on Monday, where he was told by Support Magistrate Aletha V. Fields-Ferraro to pay an additional $15,000 in monthly expenses to Shaniqua Tompkins for the care of their 10-year-old son Marquise Diamond Jackson. The rapper, who allegedly caused a commotion outside the courthouse when he demanded VIP treatment, is due back in court on June 11, according to Page Six.
