SCHOOL FOR GERI HALLIWELL NOT SPICEY

Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell was very ashamed of her "humble background" when she was at school and is insisting she was bullied over her family’s bad financial situation. The star, who grew up in Hertfordshire, England, admits she was "embarrassed" that her family were not wealthy and claims she was treated badly by her fellow schoolmates because of it. She says, "There was a girl at school who threatened to throw me over the railway tracks. I maybe didn’t’ think of myself as a misfit but I came from a humble background. "My parents didn’t have much money and my Dad would drop me off in this old Mazda car. It was really old and I’d feel a little embarrassed."Your whole world at that age is based on those stupid things and if anything’s different you think, ‘Shame.’"

GERI HALLIWELL LOVES SPICE GIRLS KIDS

Geri Halliwell says watching The Spice Girls' children play together is "beautiful". The 35-year-old singer has revealed her 20-month-old daughter Bluebell goes on "play dates" with two-year-old Cruz, the son of her bandmate Victoria Beckham. Geri wrote on her blog: "Bluebell loves hanging with the Beckham boys. Cruz and Bluebell have play dates, and Romeo - well, he is just gorgeous with her. "Actually, it was a beautiful moment when we were rehearsing the other day and all of our kids were playing on the stage at the same time. It made me smile." Victoria has three sons with soccer star husband David - Cruz, Romeo, five, and Brooklyn, eight - while Emma Bunton gave birth to her son Beau in April. Mel B has two daughters, eight-year-old Phoenix Chi and seven-month-old Angel Iris. The band begin 'The Return of the Spice Girls' world tour in Vancouver, Canada, on December 2, and Geri insists their meticulous preparations have meant the girls have been living in each others pockets. She said: "I actually feel like I'm in the Spice bubble! We are encapsulated in this world where we are just immersed in each other's lives constantly. "Just before the run-through of the show the other morning, Mel B, Victoria and I even went to the toilet together. Although we did use separate cubicles!"

GERI HALLIWELL'S BEAUTIFUL ACCIDENT

Sexy 'Spice Girl' Geri Halliwell

Geri Halliwell says her daughter was a "beautiful accident". The Spice Girl - who has a 17-month-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna, with former lover, screenwriter Sacha Gervasi - believes motherhood has been a blessing and given her the motivation to be the best she can be. Geri said: "So many women today are single parents, I don't feel different. I think you get out of life what you put into it and Bluebell was a beautiful accident. I feel blessed to have her. "I'm learning every day as a mother. I'm learning that she's like a flower that thrives when it gets sunlight, and the sunlight is confidence, and I feel that when I'm confident it gives her self-esteem. And that gives me motivation to go on and be the best." Geri, 35, also revealed becoming a parent has made her a more compassionate person. She added to Britain's Guardian newspaper: "At first I was a single, young Bridget Jones kind of woman. I was operating in a selfish world. Now I'm a mother my compassion has expanded." The singer - who is currently preparing for the Spice Girls' comeback world tour which kicks off on December 2 in Vancouver, Canada - would love another child and is even looking into the possibility of adopting. Geri said: "I'm open about it and I'm educating myself at the moment."

GERI HALLIWELL ROMANCING RUSSIAN

A little Spice for Geri Halliwell

Geri Halliwell is reportedly romancing a Russian heir. The 34-year-old Spice Girl is said to be "besotted" with 26-year-old Evgeny Lebedev (left), whose father is billionaire academic Alexander Lebedev. The smitten pair - who met through their mutual friend, Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich - were pictured leaving a London party on Wednesday night hand-in-hand. A fellow guest at The Serpentine Gallery summer party told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "They looked very much together all night and were whispering in each other's ears. Geri seemed totally besotted with him and kept touching his arm. And it looked like the feeling was very much mutual." Geri - who has a one-year-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna - has had a turbulent love life and is yet to find her 'Mr. Right'. She has previously dated Robbie Williams, 'Little Britain' comic David Walliams and British radio and TV presenter Chris Evans. Her relationship with scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi, the father of her daughter Bluebell, ended in the early stages of her pregnancy and she has had no contact with him since. Last month, it was claimed Geri was keen to have another baby because she wants Bluebell to have a brother or a sister. A source said: "Geri doesn't want Bluebell to be an only child because she's such a sociable baby and loves being around other children. "Geri is very close to her own sister, Natalie, and she can't imagine life without a sibling. "Having another child is very much at the forefront of her mind right now."
