GWYNETH PALTROW GUILTY ABOUT CHILDREN

Gwyneth Paltrow

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow is battling huge feelings of guilt as she prepares to film "Iron Man 2", because she has to drag her kids out of London for the shoot. The star, who plays Pepper Potts in the hit movie, will leave the British capital, where she lives with her husband, Coldplay's Chris Martin and her two children, on Monday to begin filming the sequel to the blockbuster picture in the United States. But the star is admitting she hates having to remove her children -- 4-year-old daughter Apple and 1-year-old son Moses -- from their normal surroundings. She says, "I'm feeling 'mother guilt' because my daughter is looking forward to going but my son says, 'I don't wanna leave my London house!' So I always feel pretty guilty about that. I try to say, 'We're gonna swim and it's going to be sunny!' I try to point out the positives." And the star is also insisting the children are often confused when she returns to work: "I barely ever do films; I'm with them almost all the time. But in a way it makes the transition harder. I feel like if I worked all the time, then they would be used to it. But when I'm always there and always doing the school runs and I'm always around and then I just disappear for 14 hours a day to film, it's hard."

GWYNETH PALTROW'S HOSPITAL VISIT

Gwyneth Paltrow

Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly turned down hospital food when she was admitted to a New York City Medical Center and ordered an organic feast instead. The award winning actress was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital on Monday afternoon where she was treated for an unknown condition. Paltrow was admitted under her married name and witnesses report seeing the star being pushed in a wheelchair by her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin. The star spent one night at the facility before she was discharged and shortly after her arrival a bag labelled "Gwyneth Martin" was delivered from New York shop Organics Avenue, which stocks organic raw food. Exact details surrounding her visit have been shrouded in mystery, but Paltrow’s publicist Stephen Huvane confirmed the actress is now recovering at her New York home. He says, "We’re not commenting as it is personal but Gwyneth is fine".

GWYNETH PALTROW'S SPAIN ADVERTURE

Gwyneth Paltrow has embarked on a gastronomic trip around Spain. The Hollywood actress and three fellow food lovers began their four-month tour in Madrid today for Gwyneth's 13-part TV series 'Spain ... on the road again'. She said: "I don't know what we are going to do, but it is going to be fun." The 'Shallow Hal' star is joined by acclaimed chef Mario Batali, New York Times food writer Mark Bittman and Spanish actress Claudia Bassols. The show's producer Charles Pinsky said: "It is going to be a road trip, although we've planned things out. We've got some special things that maybe other tourists might not get a chance to do, as well." Gwyneth is fluent in Spanish after living with a local family in Castille when she was a student. The 35-year-old vegan is looking forward to sampling rice dishes and seafood, but won't be tempted by any of the meaty delights Spain is famous for. She said: "I won't start eating meat on this trip, but my Spanish father would kill me." Gwyneth's show is due to air on US TV in September 2008.
