HUGH GRANT SHOCKS LONDON DINERS

Hooker lover Hugh Grant shocked diners at a London restaurant recently when he played with a mystery woman and a male pal in full view of the public. The Notting Hill star, 47, was enjoying a night out at Japanese restaurant Roka last Thursday with his friend and the Asian beauty, when the incident occurred. In photographs printed in British newspaper the Daily Mirror on Friday, Grant can be seen kissing the woman while his pal caresses the inside of her thigh. Eyewitness Hannah Crow says, "It was disgusting. Hugh and the girl were completely going for it. It was brazen. But he didn’t seem to care. Weirdly, the other guy tried to appear as if he wasn’t doing anything. I’ve never seen anything like it. It wasn’t normal…"They sat on the sofa next to us with the girl in the middle. Soon, Hugh started groping her full-on. Meanwhile the other guy was touching the girl’s thigh. It was like Hugh accepted it… Hugh put his fingers in her mouth. She was sucking his fingers." Grant has been single since splitting from Jemima Khan last February and he hit headlines in October after joining young university students for a steamy house part in Scotland.

LIZ HURLEY STILL CARES FOR EX. HUGH

Liz Hurley still loves ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant, even though he used to make her "demented". The now married star still thinks highly of Hugh, who she dated for over 13 years before they split in May 2000, but admits they used to drive each other mad when they were together. Hurley - whose husband is Indian businessman Arun Nayar - said: "I guess we just weren't right together as boyfriend and girlfriend. I never stopped loving him, but we used to drive each other demented! He's very neurotic, and I'm not. We didn't really argue, but we used to irritate each other like mosquitoes!" The 'Bedazzled' actress believes she and Hugh will always be friends, and will be there to support each other through whatever life throws at them. She added: "We have separate lives now but we are there for each other and that's what counts." Meanwhile, Hugh has been captured in a series of photographs canoodling with a throng of beauties half his age. The 47-year-old actor appears in images posted on social networking website Facebook allegedly drunk and enjoying the company of a group of students from Scotland's St. Andrews University at a house party recently. In one photo, Hugh is pictured with his arms draped around his female admirers, while in another he looks as if he is preparing to kiss one attractive blonde student.

Hugh Grant has reportedly got engaged to on/off girlfriend Jemima Khan. Despite the pair claiming they are no longer an item, friends insist they have rekindled their romance, with Hugh allegedly popping the question. Jemima - who has two sons with her first husband, Pakistan cricketing legend Imran Khan - is believed to have said "yes" but has doubts about walking down the aisle again. A friend told Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper: "They started seeing each other again in April. It was on the understanding that they would give it a proper shot and that if they could make it work, they would marry." Sources claim they are reluctant to announce the engagement as Jemima's mother, Lady Annabel, has warned her 33-year-old daughter not to rush into anything. One said: "Hugh has instructed Jemima not to say anything until they make an official announcement. Jemima knows she needs to be 100 per cent certain that this is the right thing for her, which is why they have been so cagey about going public." Last month, the couple - who split in February after three years together - were spotted enjoying dinner at the Ritz hotel in Paris and last weekend they were snapped sharing lunch at a London restaurant. Hugh, 46, recently revealed he's in a hurry to get married now he's getting older - but admitted he's still scared of commitment. He said: I told myself that being single in your thirties is fine. But at 46 it's a bit worrying! "I would like to get married but at the same time I'm horrified by those couples that I see around me and the lack of affection and passion that can result from the passing of time."

AMERICAN IDOL GIVES BACK TO CHARITY

Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley and Gwen Stefani are to appear on a charity version of 'American Idol'.The stars will join a host of other celebrities for 'American Idol Gives Back', a special edition of the talent show which will help impoverished African children and Hurricane Katrina victims. Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, Teri Hatcher, Pink, Daniel Radcliffe and Helena Bonham Carter will also appear on the program, which will feature some stars singing and others showcasing different talents. A show insider said: "It's great that so many big stars have come forward to give their services for charity." The shows executive producer, Ken Warwick, is looking forward to seeing the high-profile celebrities perform on the show, but would not give too many details away. He said: "One thing I can guarantee is there will be humor and a few shocks. I know it will also move people to give generously."
