Hollywood star Malinda Williams is fueling reports her "Nailed" co-star Jake Gyllenhaal is going to marry his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon after confessing she expects wedding bells very soon. Jake and Reese were recently spotted ring shopping at New York's Fred Leighton jewelry store, and his latest co-star insists it's obvious the pair will be man and wife soon. She tells Life & Style magazine, "I wouldn't be surprised if they get married soon. Reese was on the set a lot. She and Jake are clearly in love. "They're like two regular, down-home people. They seem very comfortable around each other. ... It's like they've been together for a really long time -- like an old married couple."

Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in a Broadway play.The 'Zodiac' actor has been offered a part in political drama 'Farragut North', revealed the show's producer Jeffrey Richards. The 26-year-old reportedly had a private reading for the role last week. He is expected to make a decision by this weekend, and if he accepts, it will be his Broadway debut. The part would see Jake playing an idealistic communications director for an unorthodox US presidential candidate. 'Farragut North' is said to be based on politician Howard Dean, who competed in the 2004 Democratic presidential candidate race. This isn't the first time Jake has shown an interest in politics. In 2004, he supported the Rock the Vote campaign and campaigned for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry. If Jake accepts the role, he will be following in the footsteps of many Hollywood stars who have swapped screen for stage. In recent years, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington have all starred in theatre productions.

REESE WITHERSPOON AND JAKE GYLLENHAAL HAVE A ROMANCE GOING !

Reese Witherspoon is having a "definite romance" with Jake Gyllenhaal. Despite earlier reports claiming that the 'Walk the Line' actress was merely "trying out a courtship" with heartthrob Jake, friends close to Reese insist they are an item. A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Jake doesn't want a party girl at all. "Reese is perfect because she understands the business and also the importance of family. Plus, he admires her talent, thinks she is beautiful and he respects her values. He respects everything about her actually." According to reports, Reese was keen to get together with 'Brokeback Mountain' star Jake, 26, since separating from her husband Ryan Phillippe last year. Jake and Reese became close after starring in new movie 'Rendition' together. A source said: "Reese was the pursuer and really wanted to date Jake. "She's known him for a while and thought he was intelligent and charming." Reese, 31, has two children - Ava, six, and Deacon, three - with Ryan, who she met at her 21st birthday party. Jake, 26, previously dated Kirsten Dunst for nearly three years.
