Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown looked into her spiritual side after her breakup with Eddie Murphy by meditating. The singer had a very short romance with Murphy in 2006, and she also gave birth to his daughter Angel Iris in April 2007. Brown is admitting she found it easy to put the relationship behind her by taking part in meditation sessions. She says, "I split up with him, I moved out to the beach and was happy. ... I was in England with my mum. I wasn't depressed. I don't think like that. After a break-up, I want to talk it all out and get my feelings out, so I never feel bad like that. "I go to friends and talk and talk. Either that or I meditate. I have a drive to go, 'Screw you, look at me now'."

Singer Melanie Brown is going to renew her wedding vows with hubby Stephen Belafonte during a four-day wedding celebration in Egypt. The star has reportedly planned a huge lavish party in the city of Hurghada to take place next week, with an all expenses paid trip for her close family and friends. A source tells Britain’s News of the World tabloid, "Guests are invited to ‘an outrageously fun treasure hunt’ that Mel came up with herself. Guests are also invited to dine at one of the hotel’s five restaurants and enjoy a folklore show after dinner. "The couple renew their vows on day two. The day after the wedding Mel and Stephen have arranged for guests to take in the Red Sea on a luxury diving boat." Brown met film producer Belafonte while she was pregnant with Eddie Murphy’s daughter Angel Iris, who she gave birth to in April 2007. They wed in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony later that year in June.

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has urged her ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy to "be responsible" and publicly acknowledge he is the father of her three-week old baby.Brown gave birth to Angel Iris Murphy Brown on April 3 in Santa Monica, Calif., five months after she ended her six-month relationship with the "Dreamgirls" actor.The singer claims Murphy became aware of her pregnancy while they were still together and was "over the moon."She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "We had talked about having a family and getting married. We started talking about whether we should buy a house together, where we could be alone together."Brown insists Murphy was a loving boyfriend and excited about the baby when she flew to her native England to visit her mother last December, but when she returned Murphy had ended their relationship and was denying paternity of the baby.Brown explains, "I came to see my mom for a few days as I wanted to see her in person. Then I got a flight home, landed and there is a whole sea of photographers. There were people shouting about a DNA test."I was in complete shock. I tried to call Eddie and couldn't get through. Then I got through and he said he would call me back and that was it. He never called back. I literally couldn't understand what was happening."While Brown was flying home to Los Angeles, Murphy appeared on the Dutch TV show "RTL Boulevard," saying, "I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test."She laments, "I was shocked and then I felt a bit disgusted. I don't feel humiliated. I think the only person who has humiliated themselves is Eddie."If he wants to do a DNA test, then do it. Step up to the plate and be responsible. I have no doubt that this is Eddie's baby."I'm not registering her birth without her dad."
