The Police investigating pop singer Michael Jackson's death looked into his medical treatment today, seeking to interview one of the stars doctors and seizing a car that they said may contain drugs or other evidence. California medical examiners began an autopsy for Jackson and police towed a BMW from the rented home "because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death," police spokeswoman Karen Rayner said. She said the car belongs to one of Jackson's doctors whom police wanted to interview. Rayner said she did not know the doctor's identity and stressed the doctor was not under criminal investigation. The autopsy began this morning and was expected to last several hours. An official determination on cause of death was not expected for weeks or longer, until more sophisticated tests are completed. Michael Jackson made an early exit from Prince Azim's birthday party - despite being paid $10 million to attend. The 'Thriller' singer cut short his mega-bucks appearance at the Royal's 25th birthday bash on Saturday because he felt a "bit ill". According to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, a source overheard Michael as saying: "I am feeling ill and so weak. I had to go to the bathroom to vomit. I think it must be the food. I feel terrible. "I want to go now! Please call the prince, I want to say goodbye." Prince Azim - whose father is the Sultan of Brunei, one of the world's richest men - was so keen for his hero Michael to attend his party at an English country estate, he said he would "pay whatever it took". The troubled singer did not even have to perform for his staggering pay cheque. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Michael seemed a shadow of his former self. He was white as a sheet." Meanwhile, a collection of memorabilia related to the star is due to go on auction in Las Vegas tomorrow. More than 1,000 items, including an iconic red and gold military-style jacket worn by Michael in 1987, a model of alien film character E.T. and a good luck telegram sent by Marlon Brando in 1984, will be up for grabs at the two-day sale run by Guernsey auction house. Auction house president Arlan Ettinger said: "I cannot imagine that somewhere down the road some other collection could come out of the woodwork and rival this. It's not going to happen." Michael, 48, had tried to have the auction halted, since he is not due to receive any profits from the sale. The items were requisitioned from a storage facility after the Jackson family failed to pay a bill, and now belong to Florida-based transport company Universal Express Inc. Michael, who has persuaded the company to donate a sum of the profits to charity, has been invited to attend the auction.Labels: GOSSIP, JAMES EDSTROM, MICHAEL JACKSON, PRINCE AZIM

Michael Jackson is considering legal action to stop his personal memorabilia being included in a Jackson family auction. Over 1,100 Jackson family items are due to be sold in 'The Jacksons Auction' at Las Vegas Hard Rock hotel on May 30 and 31, but the 'Thriller' singer wants to stop the sale, according to Associated Press. Michael's spokeswoman Raymone K. Bain said: "Mr. Jackson was not aware and he is extremely upset that his memorabilia was included."Guernsey's auction house said items include Michael Jackson's gold record for his 'Thriller' album, handwritten lyrics for The Jackson Five hit 'ABC'and a 'Victory Tour' program signed by the Jacksons. There is also a test pressing of The Jackson Five's 'I Want You Back', Marlon Jackson's glitter jacket, Randy Jackson's futuristic 1984 stage boots and a white fedora believed to be from Michael Jackson's 'Bad' album music video. The collection was owned by Florida luggage transportation company Universal Express Inc, which bought it last year from a New Jersey construction company owner. The former owner, Henry Vaccaro, claimed a warehouse full of Jackson memorabilia during a bankruptcy case. Michael and his sister Janet sued to stop Vaccaro from taking ownership, but a Los Angeles judge threw Michael's claim out of court last year. The status of Janet's claim is still unclear.Labels: AUCTION, CHILD MOLESTER, JAMES EDSTROM, MICHAEL JACKSON, THRILLER
