The Spice Girls have asked Donatella Versace to design their outfits for their comeback tour. The Italian designer has already started working on her exclusive creations for the band - Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - who kick off their world tour in December. A source told Britain's Daily Mirror: "Donatella was a big fan of the girls back in the day and as soon as she heard that a reunion was on the cards she submitted her ideas. There will be several different looks for each of them and the clothes will be worth over £200,000 (U.S. $400 thousand)." Donatella - the sister of the late fashion guru Gianni Versace who was murdered in 1997 - is determined that each singer will have an individual look, but won't be rigorously sticking to their previous persona's, Sporty (Mel C), Baby (Emma), Ginger (Geri), Scary (Mel B) and Posh (Victoria). The source added: "She wants the girls to retain their band persona's but in a much less obvious way than before. Mel C won't be wearing ill-fitting sportswear instead she'll have a really sexy wardrobe. Emma will wear stunning, elegant dresses with a playful touch. "Donatella thinks they look better than many bands half their age and should show that off." The band recently announced extras dates for their world tour, after 3 million people registered for tickets on the girls' official website. The group will now perform in Vancouver, Canada, San Jose, USA, and Shanghai, China. Other cities on the tour include London, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Koln, Madrid, Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town and Buenos Aires.

LOST JOHNNY CASH CONCERT FOUND

A lost JOHNNY CASH concert has been rescued from the vaults of the late country icon’s record label and is to be released as a new live CD. Cash performed a series of classics he rarely played live at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, New Jersey in July 1990, but many music executives forgot the concert was on record. Highlights include Cash’s first performance of What Is Man? and his only recordings of Wonderful Time Up There and A Beautiful Life. The concert also featured his only live recording of Life’s Railway To Heaven. The performance also contains duets between Cash and his wife June Carter Cash on fan favourites Jackson and The Wreck Of Old ‘97. The concert will be released as Johnny Cash - The Great Lost Performance later this month.

SINGER BEYONCE FALLS DOWN STAIRS

Beyoncé Knowles fell face first down a flight of stairs during a concert. The singer was performing her hit 'Ring the Alarm' in Orlando on Tuesday night when she lost her balance and slid down a dozen steps, dropping her microphone which slid across the stage. But Beyoncé - who was wearing a trench coat and high heels for the song - quickly grabbed the mic, sprang to her feet and began singing again, barely missing a beat. A representative for the 'Dreamgirls' star said: "Beyoncé's fall on stage in Orlando, Florida, during her performance of 'Ring The Alarm' was a mere spot on an otherwise sensational, flawless show. "It was a case of her coat's hem getting caught in her shoes, but Miss Knowles picked herself right up, without missing a beat, showing to all that she is the best." One concert goer, Anette Nelson, said: "Everyone gasped. But she got up right away and acted like nothing happened. I don't even think she missed a word of the song! Everyone started cheering her on, because she recovered like a true professional." When she had finished singing, Beyoncé, 25, joked: "Don't put it on YouTube." The star recently claimed dancing in heels is not a problem, but admitted she does find it difficult to dance and sing at the same time. She said: "The easiest part is dancing in the heels. I don't even think about it anymore, it's just second nature. "But it is difficult to dance and sing at the same time. I have to make sure I'm in shape and I'm hydrated."

Kylie Minogue plans to make her pop comeback with a duet with Boy George. The diminutive singer - who has been working on new material for several months after beating breast cancer - has recorded a version of Culture Club's hit 'Victim' with singer George for "a laugh". She is now considering releasing it as her first single. A source said: "She recorded the Culture Club song and a version of Roxy Music's 'Love Is The Drug' just as a bit of a laugh, but now both are mooted for the first single." The star - who was diagnosed with cancer in May 2005 and given the all-clear in early 2006 - has called in a host of producers and artists to collaborate on her 10th studio album, 'Kylie X', including Calvin Harris, Scissor Sisters, Groove Armada and Madonna's producer Stuart Price. Kylie, 39, has also sought the help of Sydney-based dance group Sneaky Sound System, who have previously supported Robbie William and Scissor Sisters on tour. Last month, a number of tracks from the album - which is not due to be released for several months - were leaked onto the Internet and made available on file-sharing sites for fans to download for free.

DIDDY WRITES SONG ON BREAKUP

P. Diddy has written a song about his split from Kim Porter. The rapper debuted 'Through the Pain. aka Kim Porter' and its accompanying video on Black Entertainment Television's '106 and Park' show last Thursday. Diddy - real name Sean Combs - is said to have penned the song is response to Kim's recent interview discussing their break-up. A source told hip-hop website Sohh.com: "This is how he's coming back. Basically it's like, 'You're putting me through hell.' The Sheffield band are in line to scoop the coveted music prize for second album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', while Amy, 23, has been nominated for her hit second LP 'Back to Black'. Amy and the Arctic Monkeys - who walked away with the prize last year for debut album 'Whatever People Say I am, That's What I'm Not' - are joined by ten other acts on this year's shortlist, which recognises the best British album of the last 12 months. Pop star AVRIL LAVIGNE has hit out at claims her song Girlfriend copies a 1970s track by the band the RUBINOOS.Tommy Dunbar claims the Canadian singer’s Girlfriend hit borrows heavily from the 1978 song, I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend, which he wrote with then-Rubinoos’ road manager James Gangwer.
They have filed a copyright lawsuit against the Canadian singer.But Lavigne insists she wrote Girlfriend with musician Luke Gottwald - and it bears no similarity to the Rubinoos song. Lavigne writes on her blog, "You may have heard some news that two guys who wrote for some band from the 1970s I have never in my life heard of called the "Rubinoos" are trying to sue me. They have a song called ‘I Want To Be Your Boyfriend’ that has no musical similarities to the song "Girlfriend" that Luke Gottwald and I wrote together.
"They claim that a small part of the lyrics are the same and are saying that I took these from them. I had never heard this song in my life and their claim is based on five words! All songs share similar lyrics and emotions. As humans we speak one language."Off the top of my head, two other songs that I can immediately think of with this type of lyric are ‘Hey, hey, you, you get off of my cloud’ by the Rolling Stones and ‘Hey little girl I want to be your boyfriend’ by the Ramones. Simply put, I have been falsely accused of ripping their song off. Luke and I have done nothing wrong and there is no merit to their claim."

The pop legend has announced a 21-night extravaganza in the UK capital, and the shows will reportedly be the last time he ever performs his greatest hits.The 'Purple Rain' star is charging just $62.42 for tickets to the 'Live Earth' tour, in honor of his '3121' album and Las Vegas club of the same name.Prince told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The last time I was here a lot of people didn't get to see me. So I tried to make it more affordable for everyone."The tour will start on August 1st, in London's 02 Arena. Sir Elton John will sing 'Candle in the Wind' at Princess Diana's memorial concert this summer. The star will perform the reworked version for the first time since the princess' funeral in 1997, despite vowing to never play it in public again. A source said: "It would be a very fitting end to a very special day." Sir Elton - who was a close friend of Diana's - originally wrote the song in 1973 as a tribute to late Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe. He changed the lyrics in honor of Diana following her tragic death in a Paris car crash in August 1997. 'Rocket Man' singer Elton, 60, will join a host of stars confirmed to take part in the Diana memorial concert, taking place at London's Wembley Stadium on July 1, which would have been the princess's 46th birthday. Lily Allen, Duran Duran, Joss Stone and Rod Stewart are among acts set to perform at the five-hour event. Diana's sons Princes William, 24, and Harry, 22, have been planning the concert since last year.

The63-year-old is the richest of his bandmates, although guitarist Keith Richards, 63, closely follows with almost $400 million. THE ARTIC MONKEYS HEADLINE FESTIVAL

Arctic Monkeys are planning a Peter Pan-themed performance at this summer's Glastonbury. The Sheffield rockers, who are one of three headliners at the world famous British music festival, intend to 'fly' on stage just like the famous children's literary character, immortalized in the Disney film 'Peter Pan'. Drummer Matt Helders said in an interview with MTV2 show 'Gonzo Special: Zane meets Arctic Monkeys': "I want to zip-line in by wire and land on my drum stool. "I went to Disneyland as a child and Tinkerbell does it. There's a spotlight on her so you can't see the wires, I thought she was really flying." It isn't the first time the band have been inspired by a popular children's story. They famously dressed up as characters from 'The Wizard of Oz' for a video acceptance speech broadcast at this year's BRIT Awards. Helders admits the group can't wait to head down to Somerset for Glastonbury, because he and his bandmate's - front man Alex Turner, guitarist Jamie Cook and bassist Nick O'Malley - have never been to the musical extravaganza before. He said: "We've never been to Glastonbury, so that's one of the most exciting things about it - not just playing but going to it as well. We thought it was a joke when we saw we were headlining." Meanwhile, the band are on course to set a new British chart record this week by having a staggering 18 songs in the Top 200. Thanks to new music download rules, the 12 tracks from the band's critically acclaimed second album, 'Favorite Worst Nightmare', are being downloaded individually at such a rate they are all on course to enter the UK singles chart. The release of the LP - which is expected to shift 250,000 copies in its first week and top the UK album chart - has reignited sales of songs from the group's debut album, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not', meaning six songs from that LP could make the Top 200.

The singer's security team reportedly laid down the strict instructions to people in the front row of his 'Future Sex Love Sounds' tour. A source said: "They were quite specific about what was and what was not allowed. We've never known anything like it. It was hysterical." Despite the stern warnings, Justin - who kicked off his UK and European tour at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on Tuesday was joined on stage by two men.The source added: "Justin looked a bit perturbed. Far from concentrated on singing he was looking all around as the action unfolded." The men had splashed out on exclusive tickets for the SexyBack Dance Club - a private area right in front of the stage. It was reported they mocked Justin before the singer's burly bodyguards forced them off the stage. Justin, who is touring with hip-hop mogul Timbaland, is also set to perform in Glasgow, Manchester, Paris, Munich, Milan, Berlin and Amsterdam.

ICON POP STAR IGGY POP TURNS 60

Punk Rocker Iggy Pop (left) turned 60 on Saturday and stripped down to a tight pair of blue jeans and dived off the stage into the arms of his adoring fans during a concert in San Francisco with his reunited band the Stooges.Towards the end of the 80-minute show, the crowd at the Warfield theatre sang along as his bandmates struck up "Happy Birthday," and Pop was surprised as balloons bearing his image dropped from the ceiling. A fan also handed him a white T-shirt inscribed "Birthday Boy Iggy," which the singer proudly displayed to his unimpressed bandmates. Pop, whose real name is Jim Osterberg, seemed thrilled by all the attention, but did not dwell too much on the special occasion. He muttered a few thanks along the way before resuming his usual routine of singing and dancing, spitting into the crowd, smashing into the speakers and throwing his microphone stand around the stage.

Robbie Williams says he is getting his life "back on track" after checking out of rehab. The 'Rudebox' singer says all is well following his recent stint at Arizona's Cottonwood de Tucson clinic, where he was treated for addictions to prescription drugs and caffeine. He told Entertainment Weekly: "It's going really good. I got the train back on track. I've been sober since February 13 and look at me - I'm brand spanking new again." Robbie, 33, also acknowledged that 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell was right to tell him to "get a grip" when he entered rehab. He said: "I've met Simon a few times and I like him. "He is usually right about things. He's probably right about that." Robbie checked into Cottowood on February 13 - his 33rd birthday. He left almost a month later on March 3 and has since been seen looking well and partying in Los Angeles. The star - who has lived in the US for two years - insists he does not want to be a success in America, because he enjoys the freedom that comes with his relative anonymity. He explained: "I decided four albums ago I like living here. I've got to the point where I'm famous enough to enjoy my celebrity and do fun stuff without all the crap that goes with it. "And it would be insane to invite what I have in the rest of the world into this country. So I'm not going to bother promoting or releasing records here."

The source added: "His aim is to make it into a pro event - just for a tournament or two. He practices every day, has a coach and takes his clubs wherever he goes." Earlier this month, Justin was mobbed on a Scottish golf course as he tried to enjoy a quiet 18 holes. A spokesman for Carnoustie Golf Links said: "With it being a public course, there was no way of keeping fans away from him like you could at a private course. "So as soon as he was spotted, lots of young girls and kids came to see him." Justin has revealed he follows rocker Alice Cooper's tour philosophy - either drink all day or play golf. An insider tells the magazine, "She wants David to have a relationship with his biological father."She's going under the guise of a vacation, but she's not on vacation -- she's on a mission."Madonna, who also runs a foundation for abandoned children in Malawi, was harshly criticized when she adopted Banda last October -- critics accused her of using her wealth and fame to fast-track the adoption process.The source tells Life & Style that Madonna hopes her trip back to Malawi will help show her critics that the adoption was "an unselfish act of love." The insider adds, "She plans on having David's father be part of the extended family. She wants to show that her adoption was not what it was portrayed as in the media."Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, has confirmed the trip, stating, "She's going to continue her work with the Raising Malawi Orphan Care Initiative, including the building of a children's care center."

Courtney Love is set to play Anna Nicole Smith in a new biopic.The 42-year-old singer - the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain - is being considered to portray the tragic Playboy model who died on February 8 from an accidental drugs overdose. A film insider is quoted by Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Courtney is flattered to be in the frame as she had a lot of respect for Anna. Courtney feels she can relate to her tragedy. "Owen Wilson is also being lined up to possibly play Anna Nicole's former love Larry Birkhead." Another biographical film entitled 'Anna Nicole' is set to start shooting next week. This project will see 26-year-old singer and 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant Willa Ford playing the blonde bombshell. There are striking similarities between Ford - who calls herself the "bad girl of pop" and Anna Nicole. They both shot to fame modelling for fashion label Guess? and were named Playboy's Playmate of the Year. The film will chart Anna Nicole's rollercoaster life from the age of 17, documenting her two marriages, her battle for her late husband J. Howard Marshall's billions and her untimely death. Anna Nicole died aged 39, just five months after giving birth to her daughter Dannielynn. Larry Birkhead was revealed as the father of the seven-month-old baby on Tuesday.

'OASIS' NOEL GALLAGHER TO GO SOLO

Noel Gallagher is planning to release a solo album. The rocker is ready to take time out from Oasis and make an LP on his own and already has a number of songs ready to record. He said in an interview with NME magazine: "I've got a backlog of songs that are slowly building up. I've got about four or five songs which are probably too far in the past as far as the band is concerned, but which could work on my record. I don't know for sure but it looks like its coming." Noel, 39, thinks now would be the perfect time to start work on the album while Oasis are taking a break. He explained: "The thing about a solo record is that the time to do one is between Oasis world tours because I'd have a couple of years. But it takes me so long to write the songs I eventually run out of time before Oasis begins again." Although the 'Don't Look Back In Anger' singer is ready to make a solo record, he isn't sure if he wants to do a solo tour. Noel - who recently played two semi-acoustic charity shows accompanied by Oasis guitarist Gem Archer and percussionist Terry Kirkbride at London's Royal Albert Hall - said: "The thing that always stops me from doing it is going on the road, standing up and fronting a band. I don't mind sitting down on a chair on my own with a couple of friends playing with me, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about charging people to come and see me play my songs every night with me up front."
