REHAB LINDSAY LOHAN PLEADS GUILTY

Lindsay Lohan will spend one day in jail after pleading guilty to taking drugs.The 'Mean Girls' star's legal team reached a plea bargain with Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers after an hour-long hearing the other day. Lindsay pleaded guilty to two charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance (cocaine) and pleaded no contest to two charges of DUI (driving under the influence of alcohol). She also pleaded no contest to one charge of reckless driving. This makes the 21-year-old actress a second offender - with two DUI convictions - which means she must serve a mandatory sentence of four days in jail. But the judge halved the prison sentence by ordering the actress to 10 days of community service. Lindsay was also given one day credit for time she already served when she was arrested. Lindsay had faced charges of DUI (driving under the influence), possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended licence. The judge also sentenced the 'Georgia Rule' star to serve 36 months probation and attend an alcohol education program for 18 months. She was ordered not to use controlled substances and is required to enrol in a drug program. Lindsay is also required to stay at the Utah rehab facility, where she is currently being treated for drug and alcohol addiction, for an unspecified amount of time. The actress was ordered "not to associate with people with controlled substances." Lindsay must appear in court on January 18 to prove she has successfully completed her rehabilitation.

STAR AMY WINEHOUSE QUITS REHAB

Amy Winehouse quit rehab yesterday.The troubled singer - who was rushed to hospital last week - walked out of Essex's The Causeway clinic after just 48 hours. Amy took a helicopter to her north London home after husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was also being treated at the facility, reportedly convinced Amy to leave so they could return to "normality". Speaking outside her house, Amy said: "Oh my God, what the hell happened last week? I'm fine don't worry." Later in the day, the 23-year-old star - who has been ordered by doctors to have a brain scan - visited a private London clinic with her 25-year-old spouse.Specialists plan to run tests for epilepsy, which they believe could have been the cause of Amy's seizure last week.The newlyweds were then spotted in their local pub the Old Eagle with Blake's mother Georgette and stepfather Giles. Amy's father Mitch is furious his daughter has left rehab and is desperate to get her away from her husband, who he blames for her problems. A source said: "Mitch is desperate for Amy to get some proper lengthy treatment but she'll only do it with Blake. Mitch even looked to see if he could get a restraining order against him but legally it's impossible."

The 'Toxic' singer has allegedly changed her will to ensure her mother Lynne never gains custody of her grandsons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James.Britney's teenage sister Jamie Lynne is now set to inherit the star's estate and custody of her sons when the singer dies, according to National Enquirer magazine. Britney also reportedly stipulates in the new will that her cousin Alli Sims will look after the boys if she dies before 15-year-old Jamie Lynn turns 21. Relations between Britney and Lynne allegedly turned sour after the 'Lucky' singer felt her mother forced her into rehab. The 25-year-old visited Lynne on the set of Jamie Lynn's TV show, 'Zoey 101', last week and allegedly handed Lynne a legal order banning her from seeing her grandsons while she is on any form of medication. Britney also reportedly hired a private investigator to record phone calls between Lynne and the singer's estranged husband Kevin Federline In one conversation, Lynne is said to arrange to meet Kevin and the boys, saying: "I have to be careful that Britney doesn't find out!" Britney is also said to have presented Lynne with a hate-filled poem. A source said: "In the poem, titled 'Dear Mama', she wrote that she didn't have a mom anymore and she couldn't imagine a mother doing what she did to her child. "Britney gave the poem to her mom and said, 'Here Momma, I just wanted to see your face.' "Then she got into her car and drove off. Lynne went into the trailer and broke down in tears."

The troubled singer, who allegedly visited her attorney to make enquiries about the order last week, is said to have completed the paperwork in an attempt to keep Lynne away from her two sons. Britney claims Lynne is abusing prescription pain medication and should not be allowed to see 21-month-old Sean Preston and nine-month-old Jayden James. The papers were allegedly due to be filed late on Monday or today according to a website. Britney is said to be furious with Lynne for visiting Sean Preston and Jayden James at her estranged husband Kevin Federline's home. She believes Lynne and Kevin forced her to enter rehab earlier this year to seek help for her alleged alcohol addiction and post-natal depression. Britney is also said to be livid that her mother sided with Kevin during the couple's custody battle. Lynne recently claimed her relationship with her daughter was improving, but insisted Britney still had a long way to go before overcoming her problems. She said: "It's sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another. Lionel said: "I think it's a cliché to say, 'I'm going into rehab. I bumped my foot today - rehab, I hit my head on something - rehab.' " The 57-year-old maintains his own daughter needed to go to rehab and some showbiz pundits believe his comments were aimed at stars who visited rehab after making bigoted comments. One publicist said: "It seems to me that he's referring to Mel Gibson or Isaiah Washington. If that's the case, that's really unfortunate." Nicole is currently awaiting a court hearing after being charged with Driving Under the Influence. The 25-year-old has pleaded not guilty despite confessing to the officers who stopped her while driving in the wrong direction on a California highway that she had smoked marijuana.

"Owen Wilson is also being lined up to possibly play Anna Nicole's former love Larry Birkhead." Another biographical film entitled 'Anna Nicole' is set to start shooting next week. This project will see 26-year-old singer and 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant Willa Ford playing the blonde bombshell. There are striking similarities between Ford - who calls herself the "bad girl of pop" and Anna Nicole. They both shot to fame modelling for fashion label Guess? and were named Playboy's Playmate of the Year. The film will chart Anna Nicole's rollercoaster life from the age of 17, documenting her two marriages, her battle for her late husband J. Howard Marshall's billions and her untimely death. "Easter is very important to me and spending Easter with my parents at home is a special treat," Kidman told The Daily Telegraph. "When I was growing up my parents always made a special Easter lunch - it was a big family occasion and it's wonderful I can share that experience with Keith now. "It is important for me to be here with my family for Easter because I'm away so much - and we're looking forward to meeting our new niece." The Oscar-winner's sister Antonia gave birth to her fourth child two weeks ago. Kidman and Urban flew in on a private jet. In a sign they plan on getting comfortable back in Sydney, minders unloaded 10 bags and suitcases into the garage of their waterfront home at Darling Point. The actress is in Sydney to prepare for Baz Luhrmann's epic new film Australia. Rehearsals for the movie, touted as the biggest Australian film ever made, begin tomorrow at Fox Studios. Filming in north Queensland is starting later this month. The couple are expected to be based locally for the next 10 months - Kidman's longest stint since filming Moulin Rouge! in 2000.
