ZELLWEGER SOLD HOUSE BECAUSE OF FANS

Renee Zellweger

Sexy Hollywood star Renee Zellweger was forced out of her Los Angeles California home by "scary fans" who kept showing up on her door. The actress recently sold her house and put everything into storage and is insisting she didn’t spend enough time there to justify the hefty mortgage payments. But now Zellweger has admitted the real reason for the move. She's putting the decision down to the groups of people constantly lurking around outside her home. She says, "I’ve had fans show up, so it’s not a friendly place for a girl who is single to live. "It can be pretty scary sometimes when they slip letters under the door at your house. And it happens. I get those letters a lot."

RENEE ZELLWEGER COULDN'T REPORT

Talented star Renee Zellweger would hate to be a journalist, because she wouldn’t be able to print negative stories about the famous Hollywood crowd. The actress plays an undercover reporter in her latest role, and, despite training to be journalist before she took up a career in acting, insists she would hate the moral responsibility that comes with the job. She tells Parade magazine, "I don’t know that I’d want that kind of responsibility of having the power to hurt someone with a public disclosure. But, ironically, I intended to be a reporter before I got into acting. "I majored in journalism, so it was kind of fun to explore that. But I could never write a story that would have a big, negative impact on somebody’s life. I don’t think I’d sit well with that."

RENE ZELLWEGER'S STRESSFUL LIFE

Stressed Out Rene Zellweger

Renée Zellweger claims her stressful life keeps her thin. The super-slim star - who had to pile on the pounds for the hit 'Bridget Jones' movies - likes to hit it hard in the gym to forget about her worries and upcoming roles. Renée told BANG Showbiz: "I don't have a fitness regime, just a lifestyle. I keep my sanity by going to the gym to work out the weirdness of my days." Although the 38-year-old actress is famed for her thin frame, she insists she still has curves in all the right places. She said: "I don't think my curves are absent. I think I'm doing alright, thank you very much!" Renée, 38, bulked up to play hapless Bridget in the two movies by gorging herself on a calorific diet of doughnuts and junk food, an eating plan which she thoroughly enjoyed. She previously said: "I loved it! I got to eat loads of my favorite foods and I was happy to look a little more voluptuous."

RENEE ZELLWEGER AND GEORGE CLOONEY

George Clooney and Renee Zellweger

Renée Zellweger feels she has been "married" to George Clooney for 28 years. The 'Cold Mountain' actress, who reportedly dated George in 2001 and again in 2006, is such close friends with the handsome actor he feels like her husband. When asked how long she has known George, Renée replied jokingly: "Oh, God. Twenty-five, 30 years." George added: "Thirty-five years!" Renée continued in an interview with W magazine: "We've been married for 28 years." To which George interrupted: "Twenty-seven. We lived together the first year. There was a lot of fighting." The 'Bridget Jones' actress jokingly claimed they shared their household chores when they lived together, saying: "I fed the dogs and pigs. I vacuumed too." Renée, who later in the interview revealed she has really been friends with George for almost 10 years, also spoke of her fears about working with him on new movie 'Leatherheads'. She said: "I didn't want to drop the ball, to be the one who sucks. "He doesn't even know how important his opinion has been to me over the years. I don't want to disappoint him. " George, who also directed 'Leatherheads', insists Renée did a great job on the movie. He said: "In movies, so often the guy gets to be the one with all the answers. In this one, she's the smart one. Which was incredible acting on her part." 'Leatherheads' is a romantic comedy set in the 20s. It follows the story of an American football team owner who sees his new coach fall for his fiancée. The movie is scheduled for release in April 2008.

RENEE ZELLWEGER'S COZY FIREFIGHTERS

Renée Zellweger's cozy night in was ruined when a "truckload" of fire-fighters burst into her apartment.
The 'Cold Mountain' actress was feeling the chill the other day and decided to use the fireplace in her luxurious New York apartment - but alarmed neighbours smelled smoke coming from her floor and phoned the emergency services. A source told the New York Post newspaper: "A truckload of fire-fighters arrived at Renée's apartment. They came and put out the contained fire in her fireplace. It seemed very unnecessary, but maybe because it is so early in the season, the neighbour was concerned." Renée was said to be startled by the sudden arrival of the fire-fighters, but laughed and joked with the men while they checked her apartment. Earlier this month, it was revealed the 38-year-old actress was taking Sir Paul McCartney on a romantic weekend away. Renée booked an exclusive secluded cottage in America's East Hampton's resort so and the 65-year-old Beatles legend could get to know each other better. A source said: It's early days but Renée really thinks they could have something. "The cottage has a piano and guitars, so she might be serenaded with an impromptu performance." Renée and Paul first met at a Tom Petty concert in New York last month where they were seen cozying up to one another.

PAUL MCCARTNEY AND RENEE ZELLWEGER SECLUDED IN THE HAMPTON'S

Renée Zellweger is taking Sir Paul McCartney on a romantic weekend away. The 38-year-old actress has booked a secluded luxury cottage in America’s East Hamptons resort so she and the 65-year-old Beatles legend can get to know each other better. A source said: “It’s early days but Renée really thinks they could have something. “The Hampton's seems to be a lucky place for them. So Renée is playing it safe by spending the weekend with him there. “The cottage has a piano and guitars, so she might be serenaded with an impromptu performance.” Renée and Paul first met at a Tom Petty concert in New York last month where they were seen cosying up to one another. For their second date the Oscar-winning actress and the beloved musician enjoyed a romantic dinner at The American Hotel restaurant in The Hampton's. The pair met up again at Jon Bon Jovi’s East Hampton holiday home last week. Paul is currently locked in a bitter divorce battle with Heather Mills – mother of his three-year-old daughter Beatrice – and he has recently been spotted with supermodel Elle Macpherson and former model Christie Brinkley. But despite the amount of female attention Paul has been receiving of late, he and Renée are said to be smitten with each other. The source added: “‘"Jerry Maguire’ is one of his favourite films, and she is a huge Beatles fan. So they were off to a good start before they even met."
