CITATION ISSUED IN SHIA LABEOUF CRASH

A citation has been issued to the owner of a car that crashed into a pickup truck driven by sexy Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf. Los Angeles California County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore today said 21-year-old Simon Herbert of Los Angeles was given a citation after the car failed to stop at a red light. Whitmore says deputies are still trying to determine if Herbert was driving his car at the time of the July 27 accident. The 22-year-old LaBeouf's hand was crushed when his truck flipped in the West Hollywood collision. The actor, who has been filming the "Transformers" sequel, spent several days in a hospital.
