TOBEY MAGUIIRE GETS A WEDGIE

Tobey Maguire says his Spider-Man suit gives him a wedgie. The 'Spider-Man 3' star has revealed the worst thing about playing the web-slinging superhero is wearing a tight suit which "rides up in his crotch".Tobey told the totp magazine: "I think the new black costume is kind of cool but it's just a little uncomfortable."It can ride up in the crotch a little bit. It's not really the outerwear of the suit - it's the inner bit that rides up."At least it's not itchy."The 31-year-old also says he was unable to perform some of the stunts during filming - after he injured himself playing a friendly game of basketball. He explained: "During filming I sprained my ankle playing basketball but it was nothing to do with the shooting."I was just an unfortunate incident with bad timing. Then I was supposed to kick a window on the set - but I kicked the windowsill."I don't think I broke my toe but I'm not sure. It went black and blue - and it was hard to walk around, which was a bit of a bummer."

SPIDERMAN 3 MOST EXPENSIVE ?

'Spiderman 3' is rumored to be the most expensive movie ever made. According to reports, the film - which is based on the popular Marvel comic book series - cost more than $500 million to make. However, the sum has been much disputed with some Hollywood insiders struggling to accept that so much money was spent on it.'Spiderman 3' producer Laura Ziskin told the New York Post newspaper: "I refuse to say the real number because it makes me choke. 'Spiderman 3' was a super-expensive movie - the most expensive film we've ever made. But there 's no way you can get to $300 million." A Sony representative claims the film cost $270 million. One movie source is adamant the actual total was higher, with production costs alone reaching $350 million, while New York location shoots cost upwards of $1 million a day. Radar magazine reported the final bill for 'Spiderman 3', which stars Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire, was $500 million. The film - which is released next month - also contains ultra-expensive computer-generated special effects. It isn't unusual for Hollywood blockbusters to cost mega-bucks. 'Spiderman 2' reportedly cost $210 million, 'King Kong' $207 million and 'Titanic' $247 million.

KIRSTEN DUNST ALMOST QUIT ACTING

Kirsten Dunst almost quit acting after filming 'Spiderman 3'.The actress has revealed she became "sick" of acting and decided to take a break after filming the third super hero movie. Kirsten told Live magazine: "I was in a lot of pain while I was making 'Spiderman 3'. Afterwards, I was done with acting. I was so sick of giving myself to other people, because I had nothing in my life that was all mine."When I finished the film, I needed a very long break from movies. I couldn't look at a script, I didn't care about acting and I haven't worked since, because that's the thing that's been causing the most pain."Kirsten, 25, said a major cause of her depression was the poor response to 'Marie Antoinette', which was booed at the Cannes Film Festival. She said: "Cannes was difficult. I got there and it was like Miami had taken over the South of France. It was horrible even before a few people booed at one of the screenings."There were no more than six of them, but it was like they s**t on the film. I was so angry about the way people were talking about it and fed up with this business."The movie was personal to me. It felt like everyone was stamping on me."

TOBEY MAGUIRE CHEAP WITH MONEY

Tobey Maguire hates to spend money !

Tobey Maguire was careful with his money when he made it in Hollywood. The 'Spider-Man' actor refused to splash his cash even when his earning sky-rocketed, because of his modest upbringing. He told Parade magazine: "When I first started being successful at this, financially speaking, I was very conservative with my money. That was definitely a product of my up bringing. You know those Lotto winners who win big and then blow all the money? That would never happen to me."Maguire's parents were just 18 and 20 when he was born, and he spent a"difficult" childhood living with various relatives. The 33-year-old star believes his frugal spending means he will never be forced to "keep making movie after movie" to maintain a lavish lifestyle. He also claims he could easily live without the trappings of fame. Maguire said: "I feel like you could drop me anywhere in the world, anonymously, and I'd figure out how to survive. If you stripped away everything I've got - the money, the fame, the possessions, everything - I know that I'd find a way to get along, because, basically, that's what I've had to do all my life."The hotly anticipated 'Spider-Man 3' is released next month.
