TERI HATCHER DONATES 35 THOUSAND

Good hearted Teri Hatcher has raised $35,000 for children and adults affected by poverty in Kenya. The Desperate Housewives actress and her daughter Emerson Rose,10, presented the huge donation during a two-week trip to Nairobi. During the trip, Hatcher took her daughter to a boarding school. And the star is saying that the schoolchildren were so embarrassed to talk to her, they used her daughter as a go-between. She says, "They loved my daughter. We talked about math. We joked. They would say, ‘What subjects do you like in school? What’s your hardest subject? What do you like? What do you do? What’s your favorite thing to do?’ "We talked about sports. We talked about who likes science and stuff like that."

TERI HATCHER'S MOUNTAIN LION ESCAPE

Sexy "Desperate Housewives" star Teri Hatcher had a very lucky escape when she came face to face with a mountain lion which has been terrifying residents in the Hollywood Hills for several weeks.Teri was out jogging early one morning recently in the hills by her Los Angeles California home, when she was aware something or somebody was behind her.She says, "Some leaves just blew something and I turned and looked ... and it was a mountain lion."I kept jogging and this path, you go down and you have to turn round and come back ... so I'm thinking, `Well now the mountain lion is up and angry,' and I'm completely by myself up there."So I get to the end (of the path) and it backs up into these kind of mansions with these huge walls, and I'm literally standing there going,`Hello ... can anyone hear me over there.'"But no one heard Hatcher's cries for help and she had to scale a steep hill to get onto Laurel Canyon.Then, when she eventually got back home, she turned on the news and discovered the authorities are on the hunt for the killer beast.She adds, "Apparently he's still out because I just heard about him on the news."

TERI HATCHER BRANDED A DIVA !

Teri Hatcher was branded a "diva" by her 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars after her behaviour at Eva Longoria's wedding. The 42-year-old brunette - who plays clumsy Susan Mayer in the hit US TV show - annoyed fellow guests at the Paris nuptials by using the Saint Germain l'Auxerrois church as a photo opportunity for herself. One guest is quoted by the New York Daily News newspaper as saying: "A private walkway was set up so that as the celebrities exited the bus from the hotel, they could sneak through the fans and paparazzi. "Felicity Huffman and Nicollette Sheridan walked into the church hand-in-hand, but Teri took her daughter and walked around into the public area to pose for photos and wave to fans for 10 minutes. "It was so strange! Everyone else was so excited to be going into the church for the wedding, and all of a sudden, Teri broke away from the group to make sure she was seen and photographed. What a diva!" Teri also attracted criticism for commissioning designer Badgley Mischka - who created the bridesmaids' gowns - to make her wedding outfit. Rumours have continually circulated that Teri does not get along with the rest of the 'Desperate Housewives' cast since the show started. An on set source reveals: "All the other girls are very close friends and hang out in each others' trailers and even at their homes. "But Teri never joins in the fun and conversations. She often runs late for scenes and causes awkwardness on set."
