Fish are a great resource to use in Stardew Valley. You can catch them to place them in fish ponds, give them as gifts to the townspeople, or sell them directly at the market for a good profit. There are a variety of different fish available in the game, and you can find them in different parts of the map and at specific times of the year.

Legendary fish

These are the toughest and most illusory fish in the game. You can only catch legendary fish once per save file, so after catching one of these five fish, you can no longer catch them.
