The Paracesis is the signature weapon of Ballas, Executor Orokin. This is a unique weapon in Warframe as it can keep moving past Rank 30, going all the way up to 40 when Polarization is at its maximum, and increasing Sentient damage thereafter.

Slash Damage

The Paracesis deals high Slash damage and has a high critical chance for a heavy blade. The Cleaving Whirlwind and Tempo Royale positions can be used with the weapon, making it very good for room cleaning.

Paracesis is obtained by completing the Prologue of the Chimera, a short quest that does not appear in the Codex. Players must have completed The Sacrifice quest to access the Chimera Prologue quest. It can be found in the Codex. When the sacrifice is complete, you can visit your room in the orbiter and you will find the man in the wall sitting on the Lotus’s headgear. If you interact with the headgear, the quest will begin. The short quest will take place after that and is more of an information dump than anything else. It’s fun, however, especially for fans of the lore. Completing the quest will give you the Paracesis blueprint, and you can then build it in the foundry with the following resources:

• 1000 Ducats
• 1 galatine
• 5 Shards of Eidolon
• 15 Orokin cells

The build will take 12 hours, and this can be skipped for 30 Platinum.
