Weekly maintenance for Destiny 2 is ongoing at the moment and is causing some confusion among fans. Normally the maintenance is over now, and we are all logging in after the weekly reset and working to get more Pinnacle hardware. Not this week. Right now the servers are down and people are wondering when the maintenance will be finished.

If you try to connect now, you will be notified that the servers are unavailable. Bungie has tweeted that the maintenance will be complete by 4 p.m. PDT, just under six hours from the time this was written. This is definitely irrelevant for updates to Destiny 2, and we currently don’t know if the servers will be down for that long or if some sort of extended background maintenance is underway.

Interestingly, no update has been updated to download yet, and its size is believed to be around 8GB, which may take some gamers a while to download each time it is released. will be available.
